The receptionist I dealt with just takes the prize! Other receptionists there seem lovely but am tied to this one as she is specific to the GP. Thought I'd contact by phone today. Phoned the general number and was advised by a lovely receptionist that as it was for the specific doctor I had to phone the specific number for him. First time waited five minutes, no one picked up. Second time I waited on hold for 16 minutes ( an automated service puts the call on hold). Total disaster. I know GP's are busy and overworked but surely a competent secretary is a possibility.
Receptionist I dealt with was really lovely and professional. Dr. Kate Meghen was arrogant and disagreed with a private menopause specialist Loretta Dignam Clinic which I attended. Dr. Kate informed me she is also a menopause specialist. I just walked out after less than 5 minutes in her presence. I can see why more and more menopause clinics are popping up when GP's think they know it all and don't. Lesson your arrogance, be less defensive and maybe start listening to your patients. It may make you a better doctor but it's doubtful.
Was seen as a visiting patient on new year's eve, very kind staff and doctor
Rude receptionist.
Great doctors
