I sincerely cannot understand why the doctor sent my 9-year-old son to a commercial organization without an ophthalmologist when I asked for a referral to an ophthalmologist at the hospital. Moreover, she was angry that I insisted on an ophthalmologist at the hospital. What function does she perform at this clinic then? It's impossible to get a free vision test using the child's medical record and a yellow form for free lenses. It's very far away, I don't remember the doctor's name.
The process of booking/amending appointments or making any contact with this practice NEEDS to be improved! It is almost impossible to get through to the reception, and often it has been an emergency for me. I understand the reception must be busy, but at least have a service in place to leave a message or request a call back? Quite disappointing because some of the staff here are really nice but I might have to change doctor going forward.
Receptionists are very professional, accommodating and easy to talk to. Dr. Dorman was very reassuring and empathetic. Would definitely recommend
we were sent away with an emergancy with no help. Places we were referred either closed or also not accepting us.
