Knightsbridge unfortunately has not been a pleasant experience as I feel that modern Super Doctor Practices are not good for patients and staff. Some positive criticisms ; 1. It take's forever to get through to the switch, this can surely be managed even by taking on a young dedicated switch person. 2. People on reception are not always polite and show little tact ie. they can be loud with personal details. 3. The radio is oppressively loud in the waiting room. Adding to a 'white noise' feel to the place. 4. The emphasis on pay now on all documentation is a little bit unmedically polite ie pay up or you'll be left sick! 5. Waiting times re up to 3*weeks. 6. A feeling that we are often paying €60 for a five minute consultation, the cat get a more thorough seeing to at the vets. 7. The centre could do with looking at the old fashioned family doctors of years ago, a bit of feeling welcome and personality might help. Finally the doctors and nurses themselves are good but its just the modern 'meat market' feel that is wrong ie. it would be a great practice if there weren't any patients sort of attitude. Many of these criticisms would be said of most modern medical centres.
I had an emergency last weekend and needed an appointment om Monday. Rang Monday morning and was given one that day. Was seen by Dr. Nadine (?) who did everything in her power to get me sorted. All in all an amazing service. Thanks so much.
Trim medical centre don't take any new patient... The receptionist are nice but they can't help to get a medical consultation in this case
