Had to go their NYE and really can't praise the staff enough. It was quiet and things moved quickly, it would have been expected that it would have been slow, that's the nature of A&E but it was so efficient and the care and niceness of all staff from the porter, to the nurses to the doctors was unparalleled. It was my first time in A&E and they were all so great working in a very busy and tough environment I've no doubt :).
Excellent staff in all areas but the worst hospital experience you'll ever have, not enough space for patients. By tomorrow morning, I'll be 65 hours between sitting on a chair in A&E and lying on a trolley in a hallway in A&E. Is this normal? , here, I think it is :( and about 4 hours sleep :(
Had to go to A&E for a check up. Wasn't busy and things moved quickly. The South Indian nurses were great; so was Dr. Simon. Left there feeling better.
Amazing team of people working there from the person in A&E who took my details, the ladies and gentlemen who accessed me, x-rayed me, wheeled me around the hospital like a king and took care of me. Treated me with good humor and genuine care. Also all the nuns and other people in the waiting rooms who shared the craic and kept ourselves engaged to make the hours fly by. Delighted to have this service and these kind of people in my county, thanks be to God 🙌🏼🤘🏼💓 (Ps. Special note that this was the Sunday after all the damage and disturbance caused by Storm Eowyn, Maith Thú!)
My mother was sick and she tried to get a semi private ward with her health insurance. Turns out they were being used as infection control rooms. What is wrong with ye? There should be infection control rooms as standard? Way too hot inside as well
