Yes receptionist could do with training on people skills. I know the monaghan hospital won't cover abdominal pain but it's ridiculous that even nurse and doctors won't see anyone who had abdominal pain. All because of insurance companies. Trained doctors aren't allow to exam anyone with non facial injuries like abdominal pain despite having a scanner in the hospital/ x ray. Why are medical staff so afraid to go again HSE beaucrates! Wake up people of monaghan.
Rude Receptionist. Very aggressive personality. Didn't want to answer my questions. Perhaps learn some people skills!!!!!
The nurses and doctor were so nice, they put me at ease, I was really nervous getting an endoscopy, and it was my first time getting sedated too, but went so smoothly, Dr Wakkas and his team were very nice and understanding.
I brought my daughter for a dexa scan this morning to Monaghan Hospital. We were like dumb and dumber, neither of us has a cent of cash with us and unfortunately the hospital is cash only. But we were treated with kindness and understanding especially in the canteen, as I had travelled a good distance and I was dying for a coffee. Your staff are a credit to you.
Want to thank Kate, Jackie and the doctor down in the minor injury unit. They were absolutely amazing with my partner with his burns. He got burnt while lying out in the sun, on holidays in Portugal, for five hours with no sun cream on. With alot of blisters on his chest and legs. They were 5 days old when we got home from Portugal and went to monaghan. He was in alot of pain. They were amazing putting gel on to cool him down and give him pain killers. The doctor removed his blisters allowing his body to heal. They dressed the wounds and made a body suit to keep the banages on, on his chest and belly. They covered the leg banages with a strong material holding it on. It was like a travel sock material. That was everything they did. They just couldn't do enough for him. He is out the other side now. He healed up really well. Thank you so much for your care. We really can't thank you enough. He really appreciated it. So did I. Xxxx
